Secondary Data Team Meetings

Five times a year New Madrid County core teachers in grades six through twelve meet to review and analyze data on student performance.  This process is part of an ongoing effort to improve instruction and increase student performance.  Benchmarks and CFAs, or common formative assessments are administered periodically to assess student progress toward mastery of specific skills, and the results are used to inform instructional planning.  Data-based decision make is a process that is used throughout the district to make everyone involved assessment capable; teachers and students alike need to know where they are, where they are going, and how to get there.  Data Team collaboration is an essential step in achieving that goal.
