Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) are an important part of the New Madrid Co. R-1 Technical Skills Center.   Career and technical student organizations provide essential opportunities for students to develop and refine the skills required in their chosen occupational area.  Student conferences, competitions, workshops, community service, and other activities make education more enjoyable and effective.  CTSOs may be fully integrated into the instructional program as a supplement to regular classroom instruction.  When properly planned and conducted, CTSO activities strengthen learning in the classroom

We have three (3) different CTSO organizations for students to choose from depending upon the career pathway and courses they choose.  We offer Future Farmers of America (FFA), Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), and SkillsUSA.
