GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Picture retakes will be Nov 1

Picture sign up sheet on a google form online for retakes or new students starting Oct 1 - Oct 18.  You MUST sign up in order to have your picture retaken (no exceptions). Follow the link for the form.

If you check out a loaner chromebook from the library, they are not checked out for the semester.  All chromebooks are due on Fridays unless prior arrangements are made by your teacher. 

 

Students MUST have their ID badges in order to get into ANY HOME game FREE, otherwise they will be expected to pay.

CLASS ANNOUNCEMENTS

Juniors & Seniors who did not sell their magazines for prom (last year or this year) - payments will be due BEFORE Christmas break. If you only sold a partial amount, your prorated cost will be due BEFORE Christmas break. If you aren't sure what you owe, please see Mrs. Smith or Ms. Payne. After Christmas there will be a late fee added.



CLUBS AND ACTIVITIES ANNOUNCEMENTS

The following cheer team members will be gone October 25th helping with Trunk or Treat at the elementary school. They are responsible for any assignments they miss.   Chandlor Stromire, Lizzie Bennett, Zamari Jackson, Kamijah Boyd, Lona Kershaw, Lexi Eakens, Destiny Brant, Jimmaya Caldwell-Newsom, Hannah Spears, Emma Martinez, Jaclynn White, Maddie Horne, Callie Horne, Keishaunna Burrow, and Lania Ingram.


The following students will be gone with FCA and SkillsUSA for the New Madrid Trunk or Treat event at NME:  Hayley Ash, Paige Ferguson, Camryn Hardin, Ashlin Henry, Martha Higgins, Abrianna King, Sierra Ludwig, Emily Morgan, Mackenzie Myers, Amaijaah Smith, Kelly Spears, Colby Vaughn, Allison Crider, Bre’Ona Morgan, Donnie Ray Brown, Maggie Sutton, Betsy Riggs, Ja’Tori Maxwell, Lizzie Bennett, Catie Cox, Emily Brasher, Khayrah Steward, Alexia Eakens, and Hunter Polk.


FCA is hosting a Food Packing Event on November 15th from 9-11 am in the North Lobby. SkillsUSA is teaming up with them to help out. We only have 120 spots for volunteers so once they are filled, we can't take anymore. We will have two sessions that day. One from 9-10 for 60 students to pack and a second session from 10-11 for the additional 60 students to pack.  Please let me know if your class or club would like to help.


Skills USA is hosting a Turkey Trot competition November 12th from 3:00-6:00 pm.

COUNSELOR ANNOUNCEMENTS

 VOICE OF DEMOCRACY audio-essay is open. Mrs. Rost has pamphlets and so do the English and History teachers. Mrs. Rost also has flash drives students can use to record their essay. The deadline is Oct. 31st. Students can win $500, $250, and $125. See Mrs. Rost or English and History teachers for details!
