Business and Accounting

Our Business Program consists of 4 courses: Business Technology, Computer Application, Accounting I and Accounting II.

These courses are designed to assist students develop the qualities, knowledge, and skills necessary for working in the field of business.

Computer Applications is a course designed for students who have little or no experience using computer applications. The objectives of the course is for the student to obtain the knowledge to create documents, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations. Computer Applications can be taken for dual credit through Southeast Missouri State University.

Business Technology is a course that enhances the students computer application skills as they develop competencies needed by administrative support professional.

Accounting I is a course designed to introduce students to the basic tenets of accounting and to serve as a foundation course for students who are considering a career in accounting.

Accounting II is a course designed to introduce the student to the use of business papers, business forms, and report documents.
