New Madrid County Central High School is a rural school located just off of I-55 near Howardville, MO.  It’s the central location for high schoolers who attended New Madrid, Matthews, and Lilbourn elementary schools.  It has a diverse population consisting of 382 students. The school’s mascot, Eagor the eagle, eagerly represents Eagle nation.  The school’s colors, green and gold, are predominantly displayed throughout the building.
