Hello, Parents and Guardians,
We're excited to tell you about an amazing opportunity for our students! On April 8th, there will be a cool event called a solar eclipse, where the moon blocks the sun. We want to take our students out to see it!
But before we do, we want to make sure everyone is safe. So, we've given each student a form to fill out. They should have received it in their 7th-period class. If they did not, they can come by the office to get one as soon as possible. It talks about the risks of looking at the eclipse without protection. Please sign and return this form by April 5th if you wish your child to participate. If we don't get it back, your child won't be able to join us outside for the event, but they can still watch the eclipse online.
On the day of the eclipse, we'll give each student special glasses to protect their eyes. These are free and safe for looking at the eclipse.
We're excited to make this a fun and educational experience for our students. Thank you for trusting us with your child's learning!
