
Bently Rooker was selected into the WashU Rural Scholars Academy, which is an all-expense paid week-long stay at Washington University in St. Louis for the summer of 2023. Students selected will be exposed to the kinds of academic and professional development opportunities available in an urban center through group activities, including social activities, which showcase the city of St. Louis.


The track and field team has four athletes competing at the sectional track and field meet at Hillsboro this Saturday. The time schedule is attached below. Good luck to the following athletes!

Saturday May 13, 2023 District Baseball has been moved to Malden High School baseball field due to weather. The new game time for NMCC v. Twin Rivers is 6:00PM.

The track and field team will compete at districts this Saturday at Notre Dame. The cost of admission is $6. The time schedule of events is posted below.



Boys Baseball Class 3 District 1 Semifinals will be played Saturday May 13th at 3:30 pm at Portageville High School. NMCC will take on Twin Rivers. Cost of tickets will be $6.00 each and must be purchased from https://www.mshsaa.org/CMSPages/Tickets.aspx

Tomorrow is the seniors last day of high school!! They will do a senior walk-through in their caps and gowns at their old elementary schools, middle school, and one last time through the high school.
Graduation is Tuesday, May 16th at 6:30 PM in the high school gymnasium. The doors open at 5 PM. 💚🦅💛

The senior awards ceremony is on Monday, May 15th at 6:30 PM in the high school commons. Please check with your senior if they are to attend.

Parents,
If you have a student who will be entering 8th or 12th grade for the 2023-2024 school year they will need the following immunizations. 8th graders will need a Tdap and MCV and 12th graders will need the MCV.

Congratulations to all of our track and field athletes on their performances at the semo all division track and field meet Saturday. The following students earned medals this past Saturday.
Ja’Kwon Jones 2nd place overall in the long jump of all divisions and first place semo south.
Ja’kwon is currently in second place all time in the long jump at NMCC (as a freshman) and has the best jump of all freshmen in the state of Missouri. He is also in the top 25 in the state of all ages and classes.
Jakwon took 4th overall in all divisions in the triple jump and 2nd in the semo south division. He also won 1st place in the high jump in the semo south division
Evan McClellan took 1st place in the 300m and 110 hurdles in the semo south division
Ivyanna Winters took 2nd place in the 100m dash in the semo south division and 3rd place in the 200m dash.
Kayden Minner took 3rd place in the 100m dash in the semo south division.
Jacob Bennett took 3rd place in the triple jump in the semo south division.
America Treadwell took 3rd place in the long jump in the semo south division.
Marvion Cranford took 2nd place in the shot put in the semo south division.
Trey Hydle took 2nd place in the semo south division in the discus.
Our boys 4x100m relay team took 3rd place in the semo south and those guys are Rel Newsom, Jacob Bennett, Jason Jones, and Kayden Minner.
Our boys took 3rd place in the semo south in the 4x200m relay and those guys are Lamarkus Anderson, Rel Newsom, Jacob Bennett, and Connor Henderson.
