CMS Girls Basketball practice will be at New Madrid Elementary today, 9/2. Players may be picked up from NME at 5:45 or they may ride the bus as usual.

Girls basketball will begin on Tuesday, September 8. You must have a physical to participate. More information will be given once school starts.

📅 Mandatory Practice Begins: Monday, August 17
📋 Requirements:
• A current physical must be on file before participating
• Players must complete 14 practices before their first game
👟 What to Bring:
• Tennis shoes
• Cleats (if you have them)
⏰ Practice Schedule:
• Monday: 3:30–5:30 PM
• Tuesday: 3:30–6:00 PM
• Wednesday: 3:30–6:00 PM
• Thursday: 3:30–5:30 PM
• Friday: 3:30–5:30 PM
🚌 Bus pick-up times and locations will be shared at a later date.

🏫 Open House – Wednesday, August 19 | 3:00–6:00 PM (drop-in)
🍎 First Day of School – Tuesday, August 25
🗓️ School Hours – Tuesday–Friday | 7:50 AM–3:35 PM
✏️ School Supplies – Students should bring general supplies such as pencils, pens, paper, folders, and colored pencils. Specific supply lists will be shared at Open House and on the first day of school.
💧 Water Bottle Policy – Please send a CLEAR (no tint), closed-top water bottle filled with water only.

Congratulations to Jatayron Sims and Laila Nelson for being voted as the 2025-2026 Middle School Male and Female Athletes of the Year. You can pick up your plaques at the High School office anytime Monday-Thursday.
Last Day Schedule
Free sports physicals on Tuesday, May 5, at the school by SEMO Health Network. The physical will be good for two years.
The papers are available in the office and should be returned to Mrs. Jamie by Tuesday morning. Parents need to complete the necessary papers within the packet.
