8th Grade Families, you are invited to take part in a once-in-a-lifetime travel opportunity. In the summer of 2027, New Madrid County High School students will have the opportunity to travel to Spain!
You are invited to an informational meeting on Tuesday, October 14 at 5:00 PM at CHS to learn more about this amazing adventure.
As an added bonus, IF 10 travelers sign up for the tour by Wednesday, October 29 ONE lucky traveler will WIN $500 off the price of the trip!

Central Middle School Tutoring Program

New Madrid County Central Middle School offers tutoring services in the areas of Math, Science, English Language Arts, and Social Studies. Our after-school tutoring program is designed to assist students with missing work, better understanding a standard, and intervention in their core classes. We are excited to provide targeted assistance to help students excel in their studies.
Tutoring Details
- Days/Times: Every Wednesday, 3:00-5:30 PM - Subjects Covered:
- English Language Arts
- Science
- Mathematics
- Social Studies
Participation
- Teachers or Ms. Sutton will contact home about staying
- Individualized support tailored to student needs
- Snack will be provided
Transportation Options
- Parent pickup available between 4:00-5:30 PM
- Bus transportation provided at 5:30 PM

8th and 12th graders need required shots before school begins

Please remember CMS open house will be Tuesday the 12th from 3-6. There will be all kinds of information that will be beneficial to the upcoming school year. There will be a Title 1 information/meeting in the commons. We look forward to seeing everyone!

New Madrid County Central Middle School Open House is scheduled for Tuesday 8/12/2025 from 3-6. Please come meet our staff, pick up schedules and get information on a few changes at CMS. We look forward to seeing you!

CMS baseball game has been moved to the Cape HS turf field. Start time is 4:30. NO METAL CLEATS! Molded cleats, turf shoes or tennis shoes only. NO GUM OR SEEDS!

🦅 Track and Field practice will begin Monday, March 3. Students must bring clothes/tennis shoes and have a current physical to participate. Contact Coach Allen (jallen@nmcr1.org) with any questions.

🦅⚾️ Baseball Tryout Update- Baseball tryouts have been moved to Monday, March 3, and Tuesday, March 4. You must attend both days. Players must bring a glove have a current physical. Contact Coach Schoemehl (tschoemehl@nmcr1.org) with any questions you may have.
