Attention Matthews Elementary Parents:
We are having our Spring dance for grades 2-5 tonight in the gym from 6-8 pm. Doors will open at 5:45. Parents are welcome to come into the lobby and take pictures. All parents need to leave by 6:15. Please be back by 7:50 to pick your child up from the dance.
The students are not allowed to bring cell phones tonight per school policy. This has been discussed with all the students. Parents may come in and take pictures and staff members will be available to take pictures for students. We will post pictures on Facebook for all to enjoy.

Due to the severe weather threat that will be in our area this afternoon and the timing from the National Weather Service. NMCR-1 Schools will dismiss at 1:30 pm. We want to assure that our students and staff are home safe and to allow busses time to return to campus. There will be no afterschool activities, practices or tutoring.
