Matthews Elementary music program will be Wednesday, Dec. 13 at 1 pm. Doors to the gym will open at 12:45. The program will feature K-5 grade🎄🎅🎄
Mrs. Palmer’s class did a cooperative board game with Mrs. Penrod to practice using their kind words this week. To finish the game they had to work together to offer kind words to classmates.
Kindergarten enjoyed a Thanksgiving feast on Wednesday🦃
Third grade did abstract noun art and here are a few of them🎨Great job!
Mrs Penrod discussed kindness in honor of World Kindness Week. After listening to Mateo’s story..the students identified “puppy” words (kind words) and “porcupine” words (hurtful words).
It was a great lesson!!
