Matthews Elementary PTO is selling shirts! Order forms were sent to all schools in the district and given out to students. They need to be turned in to the office by Friday, August 30.

We celebrated students that have made Honor Roll ALL 4 quarters, Honor Roll with Distinction ALL 4 quarters, Perfect Attendance, and Newark Perfect Attendance! We had 55 students in grades 3-5 that had Honor Roll ALL 4 quarters! Way to go!!

End of Year awards program for grades K-5 is tomorrow (May 21) at 12:30 in the gym. Gym doors open at 12:15. We hope to see you there!

Fifth grade has made it safe and sound to Discovery Park of America!
I posted the letter that was sent home with Fifth grade about the field trip tomorrow just in case it doesn't make it home😂 Please note that parents need to be at the school to pick up your child at 4 pm. It's going to be a fun day!
