January 27 was International Holocaust Remembrance Day. Mr. Tilmon's students helped to honor the victims and survivors of the Mauthausen concentration camp by spending the class period digitizing the names of some of these individuals as part of the #everynamecounts-Challenge. The students recognized these individuals not as numbers in a textbook, but as unique life. Most of the names digitized today were those of Polish political prisoners, who were sent to the camp between 1939 and 1945.
