Middle School Cheerleaders will not cheer at football game today in Dexter.
The start time for our middle school football game scheduled for tomorrow, 9/12, at Dexter has been changed to 4:00pm.
What a night for the Eagles!!! CMS football defeated Portageville, 46-6, while the cheerleaders led the crowd loud and proud! Lots of middle school students and families came out to watch and FCA members were in the concession stand taking care of the many, many fans! It was a great night to be an EAGLE!!! 🦅

Central Middle School will host a parent meeting on September 24th at 5:30 in the Library. This will be held during Parent/Teacher conferences. This meeting is an opportunity for parents to share any thoughts or concerns.

Reminder: NMCR1 schools will not be in session on Monday September 2nd in observance of Labor Day
After-school tutoring will begin at the middle school on Tuesday, September 3. Tutoring will be assigned Monday-Thursday, from 3-4PM. CMS teachers will assign tutoring as needed and will contact parents/guardians before scheduling.

CMS Football Equipment Checkout- Any 7-8th grader planning on playing football should do three things.
1- Have your physical on file. You cannot attend practice unless a current physical is on file with the school.
2- Attend equipment check out on Tuesday, August 13, OR Wednesday, August 14, between 3-6 PM. Bus schedule will be posted at a later time. Players may be brought to the school during that time frame to be fitted since it won't take long. *you will not come both days*
3- Show up for mandatory practice after school on August 19th ready to go! For any questions, contact Coach Schoemehl (tschoemehl@nmcr1.org) or call the middle school office.
There will be MS Wrestling practice on 6/17 and 6/19 from 9a-11a, as well as on 7/15 and 7/16 from 9a-12p.
There will be NO High School or Middle School boy's basketball practice tomorrow. Practice will start on Tuesday, 6/4.
Summer bus and MS practice schedules. Practice dates and times could vary.
Summer buses will start running on Monday, June 3rd.

6th and 7th grade awards ceremony will be May 22nd @ 12:30 in the Gym. Students will be informed of who will be receiving awards so plans can be made to attend the ceremony.
